Papier Couture Fine Art Portfolio

This life-size exhibition piece utilizes a placeholder vintage map to illustrate a scalable vision for future official licensed collections, corporate collaborations, or museum-grade theme park installations.

Welcome to the concept portfolio for Papier Couture, a woman-owned business operating at the intersection of nostalgic cartography, paper engineering, and haute couture. Pieces showcased in this portfolio are entirely handmade from authentic vintage Disneyland Magic Kingdom (1964) and Disney World Magic Kingdom (1974) park maps and serve strictly as a proof-of-concept to demonstrate unique, three-dimensional manufacturing capabilities. By meticulously hand-pleating, reinforcing, and shaping original paper ephemera, flat historic park maps are transformed into framed and life-size silhouettes, illustrating how theme park nostalgia can be elevated into premium, high-concept fine art for collectors. The ultimate goal of this project is to secure official licensing agreements, transitioning these pieces into production-ready whimsical collections designed exclusively for the Disney Fine Art Program and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
