Lia Griffith
Creator and Designer
Even as a young girl, I found so much potential in paper. I made tiny, three-dimensional dolls from tissue and glue, and built elaborate private retreats from cardboard and cellophane.
At six, I became interested in fashion. I created my first dress on the sewing machine, and wore it proudly and fearlessly into church. Since then, I've experimented with various forms of fashion, including costuming plays and designing a full line of children's clothing.
With a background in graphic design and art direction, I also have experience in book design, branding, retail and marketing. I spent eight years as lead designer at Pebble Beach Resorts before moving to Portland in 2005 to grow my freelance design business.
Currently, I am enjoying launching my Papier Couture Collection and creating a new women's clothing line for Spring 2007.
Sean Moran
Artist and Designer
My art is a direct link to my dreams, observations, and beliefs. Subsequently, my art is self-revealing. I am learning more about myself with each canvas I paint and each idea I mold. As I understand myself more, I become more congruent with my true self and this facilitates a purer extension of me through art. A beautiful cycle emerges.
My background includes art studies in France, 14 years as an artist, and 10 years of professional experience in new media development. I have received accolades for my design including the prestigious One Show award for creative direction on a General Motors advertising campaign.
I have continued my more personal visual expressions as an artist through the years and I have assembled a rich portfolio of drawings, paintings, and photography.
